teaching

I’m an MIT- and Harvard-trained private teacher.

I offer rigorous tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students and to working professionals. I’ve taught independently for more than a decade and have thousands of hours of one-on-one experience, both in person (in the Boston metro area) and online (with students around the world).

I specialize in advanced university and graduate-level coursework across the sciences and the humanities; I also offer test preparation for a variety of standardized exams. No matter the subject, my teaching emphasizes deep mastery and conceptual understanding.

To learn more about my teaching, and to read more than sixty testimonials, visit my profile at WyzAnt, an online tutoring marketplace. For a decade I’ve been the highest-rated WyzAnt tutor in the Boston metro area for the subjects I teach. I’ve worked with undergraduate and graduate students at Harvard, MIT, Stanford, the University of Cambridge, and the London School of Economics, among many other universities. My high school students have included the children of MIT and Harvard faculty members in mathematics, computer science, economics, and medicine.
